When the New Teen Titans was given its very anime influenced makeover for the recent cartoon series, the young, redesigned Raven, from the DC universe, was bound to attract the attention of hentai fans. Since the vast majority of hentai doujin works involve taking known characters and placing them in anime, manga or CG collections featuring adult content, such as hentai tentacles, it should come as no surprise that any beautiful female character design would be unable to escape the imaginations of doujin circles. Not to be an exception, Raven has been known to appear in hentai artwork from time to time.
Being a character in the DC universe, as opposed to those widely known in Japan through manga or anime, Raven is not large enough in the east to be recognized by many doujin creators. In fact, more of the works featuring her entangled with hentai tentacles are western fan art. Oftentimes the art was not created for any professional purpose and some of it was previously freely released in venues like USENET. Some entrepreneurial website owners, though, saw the value of the images, knowing the popularity of hentai tentacles in general, and decided them to be orphan works and added them to their website galleries. While not as big as the top anime and manga characters, Raven still has carved out a small spot in the world of hentai.
